MOLECULAR MEDICINE

POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMME IN MOLECULAR MEDICINE

A) Entry requirements for the M.Sc Molecular Medicine:

All candidates must fulfil the university minimum requirements as stipulated by the University programmes and the University.

Candidates with MB.BS or its equivalent from a recognized university

 

B) Entry requirements for the PhD Molecular Medicine:

All candidates must fulfil the university minimum requirements as stipulated by the University programmes and the University.

Candidates with MB.BS from a recognized university

All candidates must have passed the Part 2 fellowship examination in a relevant discipline or its equivalents from recognized postgraduate medical colleges or Graduates from approved universities who have obtained the degree of M.Sc in Molecular Medicine with a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4 or 3.5/5.0 or 60% and project score not lower than 60%.

 

C) Entry requirements for the MD Molecular Medicine:

All candidates must fulfil the university minimum requirements as stipulated by the University programmes and the University.

Candidates with MB.BS from a recognized university

All candidates must have passed the Part 2 fellowship examination in a relevant discipline or its equivalents from recognized postgraduate medical colleges.

A candidate who holds recognized postgraduate medical qualifications in clinical medicine with five published articles on molecular medicine in impact factor (TR) journals, as the first author.

A minimum of 5 years of postgraduate experience in the field of molecular medicine is an advantage.

 

Duration of programmes

1) Duration of Masters Programme

i) Full–time; a minimum of 3 semesters

a maximum of 5 semesters

ii) Part-time; a minimum of 5 semesters

a maximum of 8 semesters

 

2) Duration of Ph.D./MD programme

) Full–time; a minimum of 6 semesters

a maximum of 10 semesters

ii) Part-time; a minimum of 8 semesters

a maximum of 12 semesters
